Introduces pupils to construction-related drawing conventions, symbols, projection lines, measurement exercises, and calculations. It also investigates and comprehends the applicability and complexity of drawing conventions and skills as a medium of communication.
Task
Using the construction industry's standard drawing conventions, create a series of scaled drawings of a room in the house, including the current furniture arrangement. It was also necessary to measure the selected space in the house with the existing furniture arrangement and convert it to the correct measuring scale. All spaces and furniture measurements in the drawing must be produced by using a scale ruler.
REFLECTION
Since I chose to draw my bedroom for this assignment, I would say it is an opportunity to observe my bedroom. If it weren't for this assignment, I don't think I would purposely go measure the dimensions of my space and furniture. Besides that, this is my first time drawing a technical drawing, and I found it challenging because a single crooked line affects the entire drawing. Therefore, while doing this task, I also train my patient.
